Gem Manufacturing produces a series of liquid tight conduit ferrules for the commercial electrical industry. Produced from cold rolled steel and aluminum, these fittings are designed to provide electrical protection to connections that are exposed to weather, water, oil, dirt and other contaminants.
Available in four standard sizes, these ferrules are produced complete on Waterbury Ferrule ICOP transfer presses at speeds of roughly 50 per minute. After manufacture, the parts are cleaned, annealed and plated.
Nearly 4,500,000 units are produced annually and shipped through Kanban systems to customers throughout North America.
